On March 4, 2013 your CAW bargaining committee and ASP management met in front of Arbitrator Brian Kellar in order to resolve collective bargaining issues.
The focus of the first day of arbitration was to attempt to resolve outstanding bargaining proposals and to agree to as many non-monetary issues as possible. Once this is accomplished, the arbitrator will examine and rule on any remaining issues, including those of a monetary nature.
The union and the company will meet again with Mr. Kellar to continue the arbitration process on April 6 and 7, 2013.
The CAW and your bargaining committee would like to again thank the membership of ASP for your unwavering support throughout this long and difficult process. We will continue to keep you updated as we progress.
