Unifor Local 2002 opens bargaining with ASP

Your Local 2002 elected bargaining committee, consisting of Mustafa Brati, Zirjana Haxhiaj, Ahmedsadik Isse and Gurpreet Singh Malhi met with company representatives from ASP and exchanged bargaining proposals on July 7, 2016.

Opening remarks were made by both parties and the committee made it clear that they intend to reach a fair and progressive agreement acceptable to our members.

After the exchange of agendas, the parameters for bargaining were set out and agreed upon. The union and the company then reviewed the proposals and developed timetables for the items to be negotiated.

Our next scheduled date for negotiations is July 11, 2016. We would like to thank our members for their continued support; an involved and informed membership will equal a progressive agreement. We will continue to keep you updated.
