The term for the Aeroplan Employee Assistance program (EAP) Representative positions for YVR and YUL are ending. Although the experience and training garnered over the years can make the EAP Representative incumbent invaluable, the Unifor Local 2002 bylaws require us to post appointed positions every three years. The reason is that by its virtue, posting the positions gives an automatic review; it gives transparency and allows the Local to do its due diligence by asking if anyone in our membership is more qualified to be an Aeroplan EAP Representative.
The duties and responsibilities of an EAP Rep are as follows:
To build links with other union's EAP Coordinators.
To monitor and work as a resource to the Unifor contracted EAP provider.
To coordinate and assist with the delivery of related training programs to union workplace representatives.
Must be familiar with Unifor Local 2002 structure and philosophy with regards to EAP.
Any other responsibilities as directed by the President of the Local.
The term of office will end October 31, 2019. Any Aeroplan member in good standing interested in applying for the EAP position, (Montreal or Vancouver), should send a resume outlining their particular experience and a cover letter with reasons for applying for the position no later than Monday June 19, 2017 at 12:00 EST. Only qualified applicants will be interviewed.
Please mail, fax or email your resume and cover letter to:
