Air Canada pay increase
As confirmed by Air Canada on July 13, the recently negotiated pay increase will be applied on the cheque dated July 20 for the pay period June 26-July 9. Because of payroll complications, retroactive monies owed to members will be paid out in September, covering February 20 to June 25, 2011.
Air Canada union officers
In order to show solidarity with our Air Canada membership, Jamie Ross, President Local 2002
determined that all elected or appointed CAW union officers attached to Air Canada but paid by the CAW would be deducted three days strike pay (for June 14 to 16 inclusive).
