CLS Catering Vancouver rejects Tentative Agreement

CLS Catering Vancouver rejects Tentative Agreement

May 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM

Members at CLS Catering in Vancouver voted to reject the tentative agreement presented to them on May 23, 2017 by a very narrow margin. Membership participation was low compared with previous years’ ratification meetings. Those members that did attend the ratification meeting, and did not support the agreement, were unclear on their objections.

Unifor is reviewing its options under the British Columbia Labour Code and will advise the membership of its next steps.

We would like to thank all of the members who came out to vote!

Unifor represents more than 400 members at CLS Catering Services. Members provide in-flight catering for a number of airlines operating out of Vancouver Airport including Cathay Pacific and Lufthansa. Members also prepare takeout food items for the Starbucks coffee chain.
