Unifor is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative agreement with EVAS Air Charters.

The bargaining committee will be preparing ratification documents for upcoming meetings which will give members an opportunity to vote upon this agreement. These files will be available for all members who attend. Once Unifor has meetings times finalized, we will follow up with a notice advising of the details for both the Halifax and Gander locations. We strongly encourage that everyone attends these very important meetings.

"I would like to thank the bargaining committee and the membership for their continued support in reaching this first contract which will provide stability for members at EVAS," said Unifor local 2002 president Cheryl Robinson. "We look forward to servring you."

Unifor represents approximately 50 pilots at EVAS Air Charters in Gander, Newfoundland and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The company operates scheduled flights utilizing Beechcraft 1900D, 18 passenger aircraft.

Unifor is Canada’s largest union in the private sector, representing more than 315,000 workers. It was formed Labour Day weekend 2013 when the Canadian Auto Workers and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers unions merged.
