First Air: Arbitrator releases award

Arbitrator Tom Hodges has released the final and binding award pertaining to wages and contract duration for the new collective agreement between CAW Local 2002 members and First Air.

The new collective agreement has a duration of two years, backdated to May 8, 2012 when the previous contract expired.

The wage increases are as follows:

   May 8, 2012 (retroactive)

        •  0.75% for Coordinators
        •  1.25% for Agents
        •  1.50% for Attendants

   May 8, 2013

        •  1.00% for Coordinators
        •  1.50% for Agents
        •  1.75% for Attendants

  

The union would like to thank Mr. Hodges for his assistance and unwavering dedication in this matter.

An announcement regarding complete details of the collective agreement will be provided at a later date.
