The CAW and First Air met in front of Arbitrator Tom Hodges on December 14,
2012 with hopes of reaching a settlement on outstanding issues and finalizing a
new collective agreement. The Union and Company are appreciative of Mister
Hodges' efforts to bring forth a mediated solution.
Unfortunately there was no final resolve, therefore both parties will
continue with the formal arbitration process. The CAW and First Air will submit
written proposals in the new year for a final arbitrated settlement. There will
not be any modifications in the interim.
The CAW wishes all First Air Members a festive and safe holiday season.
We will continue to update the membership as this process unfolds.
