Thank you for choosing Unifor to be your voice in the workplace. You are now members of Unifor Local 2002; one of the largest locals in Unifor and home to aviation sector workers across Canada. We have a very long and proud history in the aviation sector and we are confident that you will soon see the many benefits of being part of a strong and progressive union. Canadian pilots are choosing Unifor as their union in increasing numbers.
At this time we would like to provide you with an update on what to expect in the coming weeks. In the early stages of being in a union, there are a lot of mechanisms occurring behind the scenes:

setting up elections for you to elect your peers to represent you at the bargaining table

advising the employer of who we are as a union

collecting data and constructing expectations on obtaining a collective agreement
We have received your email addresses and are in the process of collecting additional contact information to add to our database. Our local has other bargaining units whose workplace is in the air and have adapted to this by offering different communication methods. To keep informed about what is happening, we ask you to keep us updated with your contact information.
