“Congratulations to the members for ratifying their first Unifor Collective Agreement. Thank you to the Bargaining Committee for their determination in bringing forward the mandate of the membership,”
said Euila Leonard, President of Local 2002. “After a long round of bargaining including a change in the owner and CEO, the committee was successful in achieving a good agreement. This agreement provides improvements to members work-life balance which was a priority for our members. This is an agreement that we can build on in the future.”
The Bargaining Committee would like to thank the entire membership who took the time to participate in the ratification meetings and ratified this first Collective Agreement.
