IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Unifor Local 2002 has been advised by District 333 Chairperson Antonios Kourteridis of a general membership meeting to be held as follows:
WEDNESDAY, MAY 3, 2017
0700-1030 & 1430-1730
THURSDAY, MAY 4, 2017
0700-1030 & 1430-1730
The Local has been advised that the location for the meetings will be at the AESC building on each days. Further, the agenda was also sent to us and includes the following 2 items:
The District office was unclear if a vote would occur at the meetings. They had indicated this would be an information sharing meeting and that issues captured at the meeting would be forwarded to the Unifor Local 2002 executive board for an opportunity to address concerns raised by the bargaining unit.
Should the membership decide to continue through the withdrawal process as outlined in the constitution, a special meeting will be called by the Unifor 2002 executive board with 14 days advance notice given to the membership.
Unifor Local 2002 is strongly encouraging ALL members of District 333 to attend these important membership meetings.
