Jazz Bargaining Update: For Customer and Aircraft Services

Jazz Bargaining Update: For Customer and Aircraft Services

December 4, 2017 at 12:50 PM

Last week, for four days straight, the Jazz Bargaining Committee met with the company in Toronto to continue negotiations towards a new collective agreement. There were extensive discussions about the issues that are important to the membership such as contractual language, and monetary items. We also put forward the revised proposals that were exchanged with the company and respectable progress was made.

To keep the momentum, conversations will continue at the next bargaining meetings with the company on December 13,14 and 15, in Toronto. We have also scheduled further dates in mid-January of 2018.

As the elected representatives, we remain committed to representing the concerns of our members. Your continued patience, support and solidarity during this time is critical to the success of the Bargaining Committee. Your union is confident that we can achieve a positive agreement for our members at Jazz.

We will continue to keep our membership informed of any further developments. Please ensure that you have subscribed to Unifor 2002’s e-news service at www.unifor2002.org.
