Jazz CSA/ACS Negotiations Update

August 28, 2017 at 4:45 PM

As communicated in our last bulletin, Jazz and Unifor met the week of August 21st in Toronto to continue the negotiations process.

During talks, Jazz provided an overview of the current benefit plan available to our members. Patrick Rettig, Unifor’s National Representative for pension and benefits was on hand to hear the presentation and assist the committee in understanding the specifics of the plan and how it currently affects the membership.

The parties were successful in making some further progress, however, there is still much more to be discussed and negotiated in months ahead.

In order to protect the integrity of the negotiations process, the committee cannot discuss specific details with the membership while in talks with the employer. However, we will continue to keep you informed with further developments.

The parties are next scheduled to meet in Toronto on October 19 and 20 and are currently working to secure further dates before the end of 2017.

Throughout the bargaining process updates will continue to be issued through bulletins and on the Unifor 2002 website. Please ensure that you have subscribed to Unifor 2002's e-news service.
