Unifor Local 2002 recently appointed two Jazz sisters for vacancies in the Eastern and Bilingual Women's Advocate positions for Jazz CSA/ACS. The three Jazz Women’s Advocates are as follows:

Linda Gagnon – Women’s Advocate West
Linda is based at Victoria Airport

Terri Busch – Women’s Advocate East
Terri is based at Thunder Bay Airport

Manon Boucher – Women’s Advocate Bilingual
Manon is based at Saint John Airport

The women’s advocate provides referrals on issues such as sexual assault, domestic violence, anger management, suicide prevention, depression, pregnancy, separation and divorce, and stress. The role of the women’s advocate is to listen and support, to provide information, to refer women to appropriate resources and to follow up in a confidential manner. To reach any of the advocates, call the toll free number and choose your region:

Women’s Advocates are an invaluable resource to women who are dealing with extremely difficult situations. Unifor is proud to negotiate programs that assist in our goal of healthier workplaces and safer communities. Our local looks forward to working with these three sisters towards that goal.
