Your Jazz Technical Services bargaining committee
met with the employer this week in Vancouver. After lengthy discussions, the
bargaining committee could not successfully reach a tentative agreement with the
company. To this point the company has failed to address the vast majority of
the membership’s demands while continuing to push their agenda for concessions.
The bargaining committee believes that it has - in good faith - tried to address
the majority of the company’s issues which would ensure the continued success of
Jazz Aviation and its subsidiaries in its new business model.
The bargaining committee has committed to continue
negotiations in an attempt to reach a tentative agreement which will satisfy
both the requirements of the membership and the company. Future meeting dates
will be communicated when finalized.
Unifor is committed to keeping you informed of
events as they unfold. If you have any questions, please contact your bargaining
committee representative.
