Due to time constraints, Lars Olsen has resigned from the board of trustees position.
As per Local 2002 bylaw, 5.5.03, vacancies to the Board of Trustees shall be filled by appointment by the Executive Board.
The Local 2002 Executive Board has appointed Mike Lilly, a member in good standing and previous district chairperson from Jazz Technical Services, to take over the vacant position. Mike brings comprehensive union experience and financial expertise to this position. He will join trustee Patrick Chiasson and board chairperson, Marcel Rondeau in scrutinizing expenditures of the local and assisting financial secretary Wade Ireland with the annual budget.
I am confident that Mike will be an supportive addition to the Local 2002 Board of Trustees.
