Update from the Jazz Technical Services bargaining committee

Update from the Jazz Technical Services bargaining committee

April 12, 2015 at 9:00 AM

This week your Jazz Technical Services bargaining committee met in Toronto with the employer. The purpose of these meetings was to review some outstanding issues and review costing for upcoming negotiations.

As we are still in the early stages of our discussions and there is very little to release.

In March, the committee set out on a cross country base tour stopping in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. During the tour, the membership had an opportunity to bring forth any concerns they had and ask questions relating to the Company's request for early discussions and the amended Capacity Purchase Agreement (CPA) with Air Canada.

Discussions between Unifor and Jazz will continue the week of April 20th in Vancouver.

Your bargaining committee is committed to keeping the membership informed as discussions move forward with Jazz.

In solidarity,

Your Bargaining Committee
Benoit Clermont, Bargaining Chairperson
Tim Way, Atlantic Region
Stuart Warren, Central Region
Peter Brown, Western Region
John Murawesky, Pacific Region
Randy Moss, Tech II
Josee Genois, Assistant to the Local President
