June 28, 2018 at 2:12 PM
Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce the appointment of Marilyne Boettger as the Air Canada Pensions Communications Representative.

Marilyne will work with Jeremey Rabbitte, ensuring a seamless transition as Jeremey prepares to retire from Air Canada in the spring of 2019. Marilyne is based in Calgary, Alberta.

The two Pension Representatives, (Robert Stroppetti and Marilyne Boettger) are responsible to promote awareness and understanding of the Pension Plan among Unifor 2002 members. The Pension Representatives participate in an annual review of the financial, actuarial and administrative aspects of the Pension Plan, perform administrative duties as required by the applicable Pension legislation and/or the administrator.

The Pension Representatives also provide support and information to the three Air Canada Bargaining Committees.

We welcome Marilyne to this position and know that she will be an excellent resource providing a strong support system to the Air Canada Bargaining Committees. The term of office is three (3) years and concludes on June 30, 2021.

Thank you to all of the candidates who applied for the Air Canada (CAIL) Pension Communications Representative position.

In solidarity,
Euila Leonard
