Every year on December 6, Unifor Local 2002 members across Canada recognises the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
This year marks the 29th anniversary of the École Polytechnique massacre, where 14 women were murdered in Montreal in 1989 because they were women.
This day is an occasion for us to take action in our communities by supporting organizations that work together to end the violence against women. Let us gather our strength to make our workplaces, homes, and societies safer for everyone.
