Unifor reaches tentative agreement with Nasittuq, District 381

Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative agreement with Nasittuq. Members of Nasittuq District 381 will have an opportunity to hear details of the tentative agreement on the upcoming ratification teleconference.

Your Unifor bargaining committee unanimously recommends that you vote "Yes" to this agreement.

The tentative agreement will be sent to you on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:00 hours ET via personal email address. We will provide you with additional details, including how to vote, in the coming days.

Approximately 60 members supply a complete range of support services to the Department of National Defence including facilities maintenance, airfield operations, food services and transport, logistical and administrative support at CFS Alert, a military station located in Nunavut, approximately 817 km from the North Pole.
