Your Bargaining Committee has met with the Company on numerous occasions in an effort to reach a new collective agreement. Progress at the bargaining table has been made, and the majority of the non-monetary items have been agreed to, however, monetary proposals are still being discussed with the Company.
On Monday, November 12, 2018, both parties agreed to apply for Federal conciliation in order to reach an agreement on the remaining monetary issues. In applying for conciliation, the Bargaining Committee is confident that we can achieve a fair and equitable agreement for our members.
The Bargaining Committee wishes to thank the members for their continued support and will advise you of our meeting dates with the Conciliator as soon as they become available.
