Swissport-Quebec Members: Ratify New three-year agreement

Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce the members at Swissport – Quebec (District 474) have voted in favour of a new three-year agreement. Members of Swissport – Quebec ratified their collective agreement by an 80 percent margin.

The new contract includes wage scale improvement, an improvement on vacation, increase to prone rest (rest period between shifts increase from 8 hours to 10 hours), and increase in RRSP contribution from 2 percent to 3 percent.

Unifor Local 2002 represents approximately 40 members at Swissport – Quebec, these members perform Passenger Service and Ramp functions.

“The new three-year agreement is a balanced and equitable contract that provides wage scale improvements along with an improvement on vacation and increase to RRSP contribution from 2 percent to 3 percent”, said Euila Leonard, President of Local 2002. “I would like to congratulate the members of Swissport – Quebec for their collective action in ratifying their new contract. Thank you to the Bargaining Committee for their hard-fought work at the negotiating table."
