Tentative Collective Agreement Rejected by Worldwide Flight Services

Tentative Collective Agreement Rejected by Worldwide Flight Services

November 15, 2018 at 8:50 AM

Following the ratification meetings which took place in Toronto, on November 13, and in Montreal, on November 14, 2018, the tentative collective agreement has been rejected by a 65 percent margin, despite the Union’s recommendation of acceptance.

Our members have spoken, and it is clear that the wage increases negotiated were not enough for our members. Members are demanding an agreement that delivers a better standard of living as well as working conditions.

Unifor Local 2002 represents more than 50 members at Worldwide Flight Services. Members perform cargo and warehouse work for various airlines.

The Bargaining Committee would like to thank the members who took time out of their busy schedules to vote on this agreement. We are currently reviewing the next steps, and we will communicate further details in the coming week.
