The CAW has approached the Company with notice to bargain a new collective agreement. In preparing for bargaining, the membership will have the opportunity to elect a bargaining committee. Writs of Election (also known as notice of election) for these positions will be posted and sent out to all Union Officers. Any member employed at ASP (CAW District 356) and is a member in good standing is eligible to run for the position of bargaining committee member.
To be eligible, you must submit a completed nomination form. All writs of elections, nomination forms, job descriptions and CAW code of conduct will be posted in the workplace and will also be available on the CAW Local 2002 website.
