The Aeroplan bargaining committee has now completed the fourth week of negotiations. The committee met in Vancouver from November 6 – 8, 2012.

There has been a lot of debate and discussion between the union and the company and progress has been achieved on some outstanding issues. It is the committee’s goal to work towards a fair outcome on the balance.

The committee presented a comprehensive list of monetary proposals to the company, based on priorities identified by the membership through surveys and proposal meetings. Aeroplan employees have made it clear that they expect to make meaningful advances in the next contract.

Bargaining reconvenes November 12 to 15, 2012 in Montreal.

The CAW represents approximately 800 members located in call centres in Montreal and Vancouver. The current collective agreement expires on November 14, 2012.
