The Unifor Jazz and Air Canada bargaining committees met with Jazz and Air Canada to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) referred to in Arbitrator Hodges' decision regarding the Small Bases.
While the arbitration took place in April and June of 2019, the reduction in flight schedules during the pandemic delayed the implementation of the award. Discussions are underway with bargaining committees (representing both Air Canada and Jazz employees) who are at the table working in close collaboration, and together we hope to have the details finalized by the end of the week. At that time, we will come back to our members with all the details on the results of our discussions with the employers.
