Notes from Negotes - Bargaining Update for November 1st, 2019

Win as One – Unifor!

This week (October 25 to November 1st, 2019) the Bargaining Committee and the Company met to continue negotiations. The tone and tenor of negotiations have been respectful.

While some progress has been made at the table, there remain major issues that need to be resolved. Out of respect for the bargaining process, a detailed account of the provisionally agreed and outstanding issues will not be provided at this point.

Due to logistical reasons, our next scheduled bargaining meeting with the Company is on November 25, 2019. During this week we are expecting to finalize our non-monetary proposals and plan to move forward with our monetary proposals.

Another honourable mention in our slogan contest is Christina Friesdorf from Toronto Airport -  "Show US Class and Care".

Please stay informed, and direct any questions or concerns to your District Chairperson. Thank you for your support as we work to bargain a fair and equitable agreement for you.  Please ensure that you have subscribed to unifor2002.org.
