UNIFOR / AIR CANADA

Late this afternoon (March 5th, 2020), and after two days of intense bargaining, the Union and Air Canada have reached an updated tentative agreement. The tentative agreement provides enhanced improvements for our membership. The agreement is subject to ratification by the membership. If ratified, the six-year agreement will expire on February 28, 2026.

"The updated tentative agreement carries several wins that our members will be pleased with and can feel good in ratifying. We are proud to have addressed the needs of the membership and I would like to commend the Bargaining Committee and the District Chairpersons for their perseverance through these two days of challenging negotiations", said Euila Leonard, President Unifor Local 2002.

Ratification meetings and voting will be held for Air Canada CSSA members of Unifor Local 2002, across the country starting in Toronto on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, and will conclude on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Details of the tentative agreement will be released at the upcoming ratification meetings.

On behalf of the Bargaining Committee, we would like to thank the members for their support.
