Air Canada: new and improved EAP service package

Air Canada: new and improved EAP service package

We are pleased to inform you that Unifor Local 2002 has concluded an agreement to upgrade the services offered by our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider.

Life Works already provides EAP services to other non-unionized and unionized employees at Air Canada other than Unifor. As of now, all members have access to a new joint service package with Life Works. By combining EAP service programs, we will enjoy the same features as before and more. For example, members will now also have access to basic virtual medical consultations.

We believe that Unifor members will benefit from a more comprehensive EAP experience at a better price by joining with other groups already using the same provider. This agreement is for a trial period of one year and we can opt out at any time if we are not satisfied with the service level.

Life is complex filled with challenges such as finances, relationships, retirement, and health concerns. We invite you to consult the link below to view the services offered by Life Works.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to one of your Union Bargaining Representatives or EAP Coordinator if you have any questions.
