February 6, 2019 at 2:15 PM
Local 2002 would like to congratulate Sue Sitter on becoming the Women’s Advocate for Air Canada Pacific Region.  Sue works at Vancouver Airport District 101.

The Advocate will provide assistance to women and members who are faced with situations of harassment, violence, or abuse in the workplace or in their personal lives. The specially trained Advocate is there to help women access workplace or community services and offer them support through this process.

Our union has been a leader in the effort to eliminate violence against women. Supporting women and those that empower women is essential to achieving gender equality.

Local 2002 pledges our support to Sue in her new position and we look forward to working with her on behalf of the members.
