"Everyone here at Unifor is extremely proud of hard work accomplished by our bargaining committee," said Unifor 2002 President Cheryl Robinson. "Their perseverance and understanding of contract language and concepts allowed them to obtain this first Collective Agreement. I would also like to congratulate the new Canadian North membership for actively participating in the negotiations process. This agreement would not have been possible without the involvement of those at the bargaining table and in the workplace. Congratulations!"

The term of the agreement is valid from April 21, 2017 to January 31, 2019.
