Canadian North Bargaining Update

Canadian North Bargaining Update

April 25, 2013 at 5:00 PM

On April 18th, Canadian North Representatives and your Negotiation Committee participated in a conference call concerning the outstanding Vacation Grievances. At the conclusion of the call, the Company provided the Union with additional data. This information is now being analyzed by the Committee to determine our final position on the issue.

Regrettably due to a family tragedy, Canadian North requested a cancelation to our scheduled negotiations of April 23 and 24.

We have rescheduled and our next rounds of negotiations are planned for June 3-4, 2013, in Edmonton, Alberta.

We will report back on the progress of this process.

The current collective agreement for approximately 175 Canadian North customer service agents expired on December 31, 2012 and remains in effect until a new agreement is bargained and ratified by the membership.

In the event anyone has any questions about this or negotiations please do not hesitate to call the undersigned.

On behalf of your Negotiation Committee,
