Unifor local 2002 is pleased to announce that its bargaining committee has reached a tentative agreement with Canadian North’s Customer Service group. The union represents approximately 175 customer service agents at Airports, Cargo and Hub Operations in the Western and Eastern Arctic.

Throughout talks, the Unifor committee remained confident that they would reach a fair deal for its members at Canadian North. They are currently making preparations for membership ratification meetings which will be conducted over the next two weeks. Ratification details will follow in the coming days.

The bargaining committee would like to thank the membership at this time for their continuing show of support and solidarity from base to base.

If you have any questions relating to negotiations or the new agreement, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Unifor bargaining committee.

Your committee unanimously endorses this agreement and encourages you to turn out to the upcoming ratifications meetings and vote for acceptance of this new contract.
The current collective agreement expired on December 31, 2015.
