GardaWorld: Update from your elected Bargaining Committee

GardaWorld: Update from your elected Bargaining Committee

September 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee met with the employer this week in Calgary to continue negotiations towards obtaining a first collective agreement. The focus this week has been on non-monetary items, and at this early stage in the process, we can report that talks have been proceeding well and we are making progress on the proposed items.

At this juncture, both parties will be meeting independently to review the documents discussed this week and prepare for additional meeting dates scheduled for October.

As we are now in active bargaining, membership unity and solidarity are vital to our bargaining success. Our strength at the table depends on your involvement. Stay informed and direct any questions you may have to your bargaining representatives.

We would also like to remind you that if you have not already signed up to receive electronic updates from your Unifor bargaining committee, you can do so by clicking here.
