Bargaining Update for Unifor 2002 members at Jazz CSA/ACS

Bargaining Update for Unifor 2002 members at Jazz CSA/ACS

June 10, 2022 at 3:45 PM

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee returned to the negotiating table with the employer this week to continue work on a new collective agreement.

The current contract expired on January 14, 2022.

The parties met for 4 days and exchanged numerous language proposals. Progress was made over the course of the week on non-monetary language, with additional proposals still to be bargained.

Tammy Moore, Unifor Local 2002 President, was present with the committee for the duration of the week. As an experienced negotiator, Tammy has overseen several rounds of bargaining within the airline sector. On Tuesday, Scott Doherty, Assistant to Unifor National President joined the team. Scott is currently the lead negotiator for several Unifor sectors and sat with the committee to provide support.

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee has put in many long hours and is working in solidarity to achieve the best collective agreement for the Jazz CSA/ACS membership.

Negotiations will reconvene August 15-19, 2022 following a short summer hiatus.

The Committee will keep the membership updated via the Unifor 2002 website (unifor2002.org), and also by means of e-news communications. If you have not already done so, please subscribe to this service via the following link.
