RATIFIED! Porter Airlines: Customer Service Representatives have a new Five Year Agreement

Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that late this afternoon – April 24, 2023, our members at Porter Airlines - Customer Service Representatives group have ratified their new five-year agreement. Members voted 91 percent in favour of the agreement.

“Congratulations to the members of Porter Airlines – Customer Service Representatives and the Bargaining Committee for achieving an agreement that identifies the key priorities of the membership”. “This agreement builds on our progress and acknowledges the efforts that our members provide to Porter Airlines. Our Porter Airlines members are a vital part of the Billy Bishop airport community delivering top-notch customer service to their customers”, said Tammy Moore, Unifor Local 2002 President”.

The new agreement which expires on April 26, 2027, includes the following main highlights:
  • Increases to wages including retro payments
  • Signing bonus
  • Job security language
  • New monthly transportation stipend
  • Company-paid time off per month for Women’s Advocate
  • Racial Justice Advocate positions
  • Improved language for benefit-cost sharing, scheduling
  • New language for approval timelines related to shift trades and exchanges
