Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement with Porter Airlines has been reached. The agreement which is subject to ratification by the Porter Airlines Groomers/Facilities Cleaners membership was reached on August 14, 2019. The current collective agreement expired on May 27, 2019.
A ratification meeting has been scheduled for
Thursday, August 15,
2019, (see below for details).
The Bargaining Committee representatives will present and discuss the details of the tentative agreement. Members are encouraged to attend this meeting to hear the contract details and to vote on this tentative deal. As per the Local 2002 Bylaws, voting will only take place during the scheduled ratification meeting.
Your Unifor Bargaining Committee unanimously recommends that you vote "YES" to this agreement.
