Swissport Montreal Members: Employer’s Final Offer – Ratification Meetings & Vote - May 16, 2023

As we previously communicated, the Company presented the Bargaining Committee with a “Final Offer” signalling its unwillingness to pursue meaningful dialogue and negotiations on the issues that matter to the members of Swissport Montreal. 
 
EMPLOYER’S FINAL OFFER
The Bargaining Committee is not in favour of the “Final Offer”, but has a duty and responsibility to present the offer and the details of the agreement to the membership.
 
Unifor Local 2002 has scheduled  Ratification Meetings on May 16, 2023. The location and details of the meetings will be communicated to the members in the coming days.
   
Please ensure to arrive promptly at one of these meetings as the Committee will be making one presentation per meeting. Following the meetings, members will have an opportunity to ask questions to their Committee.  After the question period, members will vote on the Employer’s Final Offer to either accept or reject the offer. This vote will also include a strike mandate which will be used at the appropriate time by Unifor. 
 
To be able to vote and exercise your right to vote all members in good standing must attend one of the two meetings.  We therefore strongly encourage all members to attend one of these important presentations.
