Following the leadership meeting on February 5, 2020, the Air Canada Bargaining Committee re-entered bargaining discussions with the Company to address the issues that had arisen with the tentative agreement.
On February 19 and 20, 2020, the Union met with Company in Toronto to continue the discussions. The Union tabled a comprehensive proposal package to Air Canada that aims to resolve the issues brought forward by Unifor’s leadership and its members.
The Company responded advising they require additional time to review the proposals. Further information will be communicated as it becomes available.
