Unifor Local 2002 represents members at Cargojet Airways Ltd., a scheduled cargo airline operating in Canada and internationally. Cargojet also provides full aircraft charter services.
Members provide in-flight catering for a number of airlines operating out of Vancouver Airport including Cathay Pacific and Lufthansa. Members also prepare takeout food items for the Starbucks coffee chain.
(Toronto) - Members in this unit are responsible for operations and ground handling for American Airlines at Terminal 3 at Pearson International Airport.
(Gander, NFLD, and Halifax N.S) - Unifor represents approximately fifty pilots at EVAS (Exploits Valley Air Service) Air Charters which has been operating as a tier III Express Carrier for Air Canada since 2004. The company operates scheduled flights throughout Newfoundland and Labrador utilizing a Beechcraft 1900D, 18 passenger aircraft.
(Northern Canada, Ottawa) These members are employed as Customer Service Agents at airports, reservations, cargo, and station agents (performing all functions) in the Western and Eastern Artic, and also in Ottawa, Winnipeg and Edmonton.
(Kelowna) - Flair Airlines Ltd. is a privately owned Canadian charter airline based in Kelowna, British Columbia. Members are employed as pilots supplying large aircraft contracts and ad hoc charter services.
(Toronto) - The members in this group have a wide variety of assignments from baggage system operators to apron coordinators and facility technicians. These members are responsible for the day to day operations of the airport terminal.
(Saint John) - Members of this group are responsible for almost every aspect of hotel operations such as engineering, front desk reception, housekeeping, kitchen functions and banquets at the Saint John Convention Center.
(National) - Members are employed across the country performing all work done on the ground for the airline, including customer service, ramp, cargo, cabin services and crew scheduling.
Our members work as baggage system operators and maintenance, and are responsible for the baggage belt systems at Toronto Airport Terminal One.
(Halifax) - Jazz Technical Services ('JTS') members are employed in Halifax performing heavy maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft.
(Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto and Mirabel) - Our members are pilots who work on a contract basis for Federal Express, moving cargo across Canada. The pilots fly B757’s, Caravans and ATR's.
(Northern Canada) - Members supply a complete range of support services to the Department of National Defence including facilities maintenance, airfield operations, food services and transport, logistical and administrative support at CFS Alert, a military station located in Nunavut, approximately 817 km from the North Pole.
(Ontario) - Responsible for patient care and medical transfers, Ornge operates the largest and most sophisticated program of aero-medical transport in North America. Its operations currently serve the 12.5 million residents of the province of Ontario.
(Quebec) - Members are pilots from Quebec's largest independent airline which operates out of Saint-Hubert Airport on Montreal's south shore.
(Northern Quebec) - Members include nurses, pilots, maintenance technicians and ground personnel servicing mostly Northern Quebec.
(Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City) - Swissport provides ground and cargo handling services in the aviation industry. Unifor represents customer service agents, ramps attendants and groomers.
(Montreal) - Our members perform ramp, cargo and customer service contract work for various airlines at Toronto and Montreal airports.
