Air Canada: Bargaining Update

March 19, 2011 at 4:30 PM

As communicated last week, a decision was made by the CAW to apply for conciliation under the Canada Labour Code. Both CAW and Air Canada are still involved in bargaining talks at this time and the CAW is committed to reaching a new collective agreement for the membership.

The conciliation process does not alter in any way, our focus and determination to bargain the best possible collective agreement for you.

With your support and patience, the bargaining committee is working diligently to make improvements to our agreement. We will continue to communicate on a regular basis to keep you – the membership – informed of our developments and of the conciliation process.

In Solidarity,

Your Air Canada Bargaining Committee,

Paul Janssen, Bargaining Chairperson, Western Region
Dave Hoskins, Pacific Region
Vicky Xekominos, Central Region
Marcel Rondeau, Eastern Region
Christa Chaplin, Atlantic Region
Jamie Ross, Local 2002 President
