The Bargaining committee met with the Company on February 6 – 8, 2018, and commenced negotiations beginning with the exchange of the non-monetary proposals. After having worked through the non-monetary proposals, the Union tabled its monetary proposals to the Company on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
The Company has responded to a number of these proposals, both non-monetary and monetary; however, a future meeting will need to take place later this month to discuss the outstanding items.
February 21-22, have been scheduled for the Committee and the Company to continue to negotiate the outstanding proposals. Your Bargaining Committee remains committed to the members and is confident that we can achieve a fair and equitable agreement for our members.
