Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that it has reached a three-year tentative agreement with Canadian North on September 25, 2023. Now, it is essential for all members to carefully review the agreement and actively participate in the upcoming ratification meetings and vote. Ratification meetings will take place via Zoom on September 27 and 28.
The reason for this short notice is to expedite the implementation of the new agreement and the associated wage increases. The improved wages will take effect date of ratification, instead of the expiry date of the current collective agreement of December 2, 2023. This adjustment ensures that our members will start receiving the increased wages much earlier than expected.

RATIFICATION MEETINGS VIA ZOOM
Zoom meetings will take place on Wednesday, September 27, and Thursday, September 28. Members will receive a copy of the tentative agreement via their personal emails by 0900 EST – Wednesday, September 27. During these meetings, we will provide an opportunity for members to ask questions and gain a clear understanding of the agreement before casting their votes.
To ensure your participation and engagement in this crucial process, an email containing the Zoom meeting details and links will be sent to all members later today. We urge you to mark these dates on your calendar and join us for these significant discussions.
