Over the weekend Unifor local 2002 members at Envoy Air Inc. ratified a new
3-year collective bargaining agreement by 96 per cent.
"This was a challenging five months of negotiations that ended in
conciliation," said Unifor local 2002 president Cheryl Robinson. "Our dedicated
Unifor bargaining committee should be commended for their hard work and
perseverance throughout the entire process as talks were demanding."
The 92 members at Envoy Air had been without a contract since March 17, 2014.
Members are responsible for all ramp functions, baggage operations, grooming
and cabin services for all Envoy Air and American Airline aircraft operating in
and out of Toronto's Pearson International Airport.
