Voter turnout has been overwhelming! In the first
day alone, over half of the combined members of CAW Local 2002 and Public
Service Alliance Locals 0004 and 0005 took the time to come and cast their
ballot.
After the long fight the CAW undertook to ensure
that you would have the right to democratically choose which union will
represent you, the fact that so many members are participating is a great sight
to see!
We believe that debate informs our membership and
strengthens our union. That is why our members are never afraid to challenge
their leadership, whether it’s at the local level or the national level.
