Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that our Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) members have overwhelmingly ratified their four-year agreement. Members voted 80 percent in favour of the agreement. This is a significant milestone for our union and reflects our membership's collective voice and unity.

This agreement encompasses various important aspects, including wage increases over the life of the agreement, increases in benefits, and increases in pension contributions. Notably, it includes substantial increases for our Skilled Trade workers, bringing their compensation in line with industry standards and other unions. This is a significant achievement and demonstrates our commitment to valuing the diverse talents of the union.

MESSAGE FROM UNIFOR LOCAL 2002 PRESIDENT - TAMMY MOORE

“First and foremost, I want to emphasize that this agreement does not include any concessions. This agreement is groundbreaking in the aviation industry and sets a new standard for what we can accomplish moving forward. It is a testament to the Bargaining Committee, who have tirelessly represented our interests over the past four weeks.

Their hard work and unwavering commitment to our members’ interests have played a crucial role in achieving this outcome. They have effectively addressed our top priorities, including wages, benefits and pension and have delivered an industry-leading agreement”, said Tammy Moore, President Unifor Local 2002.

“To the members of the GTAA thank you for taking the time to vote on this agreement.
