On Friday, March 3
rd, 2023, your Bargaining Committee held a Leadership meeting at the Unifor Local 2002 office. The meeting was chaired by
Rick Pucilowski, GTAA District Chairperson, and
Antonios Kourteridis,Vice Chair /Bargaining Committee Member, and was intended to explain and discuss the bargaining process as we head into negotiations with the Company.
In attendance was
Tammy Moore, Unifor Local 2002 President who addressed and welcomed the Vice-Chairpersons of the GTAA and the Bargaining Committee. Tammy, stressed the importance of having team solidarity as we head into negotiations with the GTAA, having an understanding of the collective bargaining process, and supporting the Bargaining Committee throughout the negotiation process. Also in attendance was
Christine Maclin – Unifor Human Rights Director who spoke at length to the members about Harassment in the Workplace & Conflict Resolutions.

Later in the day, the Bargaining Committee treated the Vice-Chairpersons to a Team Building Exercise. Members were taken to an establishment called
Ready, Set, Go, which helps Union teams better their leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. As you can see below, all the members had a great time and found great value in the team-building exercises.

REMINDER: MARCH 7, SURVEY INFORMATION SESSIONS
The Bargaining Committee will be conducting
Survey Information Sessions on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023. The purpose of these sessions is so that the Committee can discuss and explain the bargaining preparation including; how to complete and register for bargaining surveys, the role of the committee throughout the negotiations, and the importance of engaging with the membership.
