Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that after four weeks of negotiations, a tentative agreement has been reached between Unifor and the GTAA. This agreement is a significant step forward in securing improved working conditions and benefits for our members. However, it is important to note that the agreement is subject to ratification by the membership.
Despite the challenges, both parties persevered, working tirelessly to address our members’ needs and concerns. Negotiations continued into the weekend, with both sides seeking common ground, a deal was finally reached
late this afternoon - Monday, June 12th, marking a crucial milestone in our collective bargaining process.
RATIFICATION MEETINGS AND VOTING ON THE AGREEMENT
The Bargaining Committee will present the tentative agreement to all the members at the ratification meetings. These meetings will provide an opportunity for you to review and discuss the details of the agreement before casting your vote.
We believe in the importance of transparency and ensuring that all members are fully informed about the terms being proposed. We encourage you to attend a meeting to seek clarification and engage in meaningful discussions.
