GardaWorld Calgary Members: Bargaining Update for June 26th, 2023

June 26, 2023 at 1:30 PM

We would like to provide you with an update on the ongoing bargaining process. As previously mentioned, a conciliator has been appointed, and the Bargaining Committee is scheduled to reconvene this week. We are disappointed that the process has taken longer than anticipated due to scheduling conflicts between the union and the company.

Initially, the Bargaining Committee focused on the non-monetary proposals, and we are pleased to inform you that this phase has been completed. We have now moved on to working on the monetary proposals. Our goal is to reach a tentative agreement that is supported and endorsed by your Bargaining Committee.

While we understand your eagerness for more information, we must emphasize that the details of the negotiations are confidential. As per the bargaining process, we are unable to discuss specific details currently. However, please be assured that we will keep you updated on any significant developments or outcomes that arise from these negotiations.

If you have any questions or need clarification on the bargaining process, we encourage you to reach out to the Bargaining Committee. We remain committed to representing your interests and reaching a favourable agreement on your behalf. Your support is greatly appreciated.

In Solidarity,

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee
