We wanted to provide you with an update on the progress made during the past two weeks of negotiations. The Bargaining Committee has made significant headway, but to ensure a thorough and fair process, we decided not to rush through the monetary proposals by the end of last week. Our aim is to bring back an agreement that the committee can fully support, addressing the key issues that have been raised by our members.
The next scheduled meetings with the Employer and the Conciliator are set to take place on June 27 for a three-day period This additional time will allow for further discussions and negotiations to reach a comprehensive agreement.
Please note that while this timeline has been extended, certain deadline dates remain unchanged. These include the end of the Conciliator's time on June 30th, 2023, as well as a cooling off period of 21 days if required, beginning July 1st.
If you have any questions or need clarification on the bargaining process, we encourage you to reach out to the Bargaining Committee. However, please remember that specific details of what has been agreed to, discussed, or ongoing cannot be disclosed due to the confidentiality of negotiations.
